I'm Senarath Rathnayake Thejana Dewmina, a Sri Lankan innovator, educator, and entrepreneur passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. From creating robots at age 13 to developing COVID-19 response innovations praised by the Ministry of Defense, my journey has been driven by curiosity and purpose.
As the founder of Gandabba Foundation and A Mark Institute, I've helped over 70,000 students succeed in their O/L and A/L examinations. I hold two patents and multiple national awards for innovations in agriculture, healthcare, and safety technology.
I'm also a YouTuber with 27,000+ subscribers, a public speaker, and an advocate for educational reform in Sri Lanka. Currently studying Computer Science at university level and expanding my knowledge in artificial intelligence and IoT development.
Started robotics journey. Participated in Ruhuna (Xbotics) and Moratuwa (SLRC) competitions. Created YouTube channel "Geek Yaka" to teach Arduino and tech basics.
Participated in Sahasak Nimawum with "Smart Smoke House" innovation. Won 1st place in Agricultural Sector at Department of Education competition. Also won 1st place at Ruwanpura Campus Ru_INFO Robotic Challenge.
Created "Dr Robot" with Ministry of Defense. Became school prefect and Mahasen House Treasurer. Won gold medal in Medicine & Pharmacy sector. Received patents (21276 & 21277). Became Under-17 throwing event champion.
Launched KAZU mobile app and created DEWO GP gas detection device. Started Gandabba Foundation providing education to thousands. Received Governor's Award. Created shilpa.org for online education access.
Organized Kaleshi music festival. Created School Book AI platform. Expanded educational programs reaching 70,000+ students through seminars and classes.
Established physical educational institute in Middeniya with 12 O/L teachers and 14 A/L teachers. Gandabba continues as Sri Lanka's largest crowd-handling educational YouTube channel.
COVID-19 response innovation for healthcare workers, developed with the Ministry of Defense Research and Development Center. Highly praised by the Secretary of Defense for its contribution to pandemic response.
